Every year around this time, people start to ask me why I moved back to Chicago after my three-year stretch of being a Florida resident. This dreamy blanket of snow is a pretty good example of my answer! The truth is I always love when the seasons change.

I was excited when Candra and Kyle wanted to do their holiday card photos at Busse Woods this year. I have done a handful of portrait sessions there already, but the fresh coat of snow on this particular day has to be the best yet! Added bonus: The adorable Binx and Tucker joining in on the fun and also being champs in the cold.
