Inga and Evan: September 12, 2020
Inga and Evan’s Gatlinburg, TN elopement was an absolute dream! From the beginning, Inga and Evan knew they were going to tie the knot on September 12, 2020. They had committed to starting their marriage on this date! However, they had to make some changes due to the pandemic. Inga’s family unfortunately was unable to fly in from Europe for the occasion. So to be fair for both families, the couple decided to elope! The bride and groom chose Gatlinburg, TN for their elopement destination. They wanted a location that neither of them have ever been before.
never been there before and for their love of nature as shown in their engagement session. What better way to celebrate a wedding than with an adventure!
First, the ceremony took place at the beautiful Gatlinburg Scenic Overlook and was officiated by Rev. Thomas Orange. The bride carried a blossoming floral arrangement of soft toned blooms which complimented the picturesque landscapes. Although, the ceremony was intimate, the newlyweds’ first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. was welcomed with cheers and applause by the passing tourists.
After the ceremony, we drove an hour and fifteen minutes to Cades Cove for bride and groom portraits. After exploring the 11-mile, one way loop the day before, we carefully selected the best locations for their wedding portraits. The different stop off locations showcased the majestic Smokey Mountains. We even saw some wildlife along the way!
Furthermore, the newlyweds continued their wedding weekend celebration with a road trip for more hiking and exploring. Congratulation Inga and Evan!
