Lake Geneva Cruise Line Wedding

Cue the song… “This Will BE… An Everlasting Love…” because this coastal, Parent Trap-inspired wedding is one for the books! And there are not enough heart eye emojis for how I feel about these two!!

From the pastel colors of sunset as the accent colors for the wedding, to the all-white, lace, bridesmaid dresses, Maria did not miss a detail when planning for this fairytale day. When planning a wedding, one of the most important decisions to make is choosing the perfect venue. For these two lovers of boating and lakes, their perfect day included a romantic, nautical-themed celebration on the Lake Geneva Cruise Line.

First, the couple began their day by getting ready in their childhood homes in Lake Geneva. Then, a traditional Catholic mass followed as the bride and groom exchanged vows at St Mary’s Hales Corners Catholic Church. The bridal party alongside the couple’s immediate families were invited for dinner on the Lake Geneva Cruise Line. The gentle waves and picturesque views of the glistening waters truly made this day feel like we were inside of a fairytale.

After dinner and returning to the dock, the wedding party was joined by the rest of the guests for a cocktail hour and celebration at Pier 290. With its charming lakeside atmosphere, the reception venue further added to the coastal charm of this special day. The newlyweds kicked off the reception with speeches from the father of the bride, maid of honor, and best man. The guests later danced the night away to the enchanting Blue Water Kings band (but not before we snuck out for some sunset portraits with just the bride and groom!). I just could not resist the mesmerizing pastel colors of the sunset along the water.

As a photographer, it was a pleasure to witness the joy and happiness radiating from the couple and their loved ones. From start to finish the day was a true reflection of romance, coastal beauty, and the natural splendor and the heartfelt emotions that define a wedding day.
