Meghana and Samir met while they were both working on their undergraduate programs at the University of Illinois. Meghana was in the same dance group with Samir’s sister, and the two were actually great friends before Meghana and Samir started dating. Samir decided to make things official during the spring of this year, when he surprised Meghana with a proposal at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool in Lincoln Park.

I love that they both have such outgoing, spirited personalities and pretty much went along with all of my crazy ideas for this photoshoot! They braved the cold from the London House Rooftop, to the Chicago Riverwalk, then finally to the Chicago Board of Trade building. Meghana also chose to wear a traditional Indian Saree for her second outfit, which was pretty much the best idea ever! It was no surprise that she received compliments everywhere we went. This stunning couple is planning their wedding for 2020. Congratulations to you both!
