Kellie and Cal’s summer engagement session at Peck Farm Park was made of golden hour dreams!! You’d never guess we were all sweating the entire time because these two and their pup, Snoop, made the shoot so much fun!

Kellie and Cal first met while they were both working at Buffalo Wild Wings during their college years, and they dated a little over six years before getting engaged.

Cal proposed this past September on Kellie’s birthday. He pulled off one of the greatest surprises that Kellie was not at all expecting! They had just spent her birthday weekend in Wisconsin, so Kellie was not expecting anything on Sunday evening when they had plans to meet with some friends in Naperville for a drink. They took a quick detour by the Riverwalk. All of their friends were waiting and hiding as Cal got down on one knee and popped the question. They then walked over to Empire and all of their family and friends were already waiting inside for them. Kellie was in complete shock! She says it was the perfect day!

Kellie and Cal share a similar sense of humor and make the best of whatever they are doing. Kellie says she knew right from the start that they would spend the rest of their lives together.

Their wedding scheduled for November of this year might look a little different than we all had planned, but they are still having a ceremony and making the best of the situation. I can’t wait to see you two say “I do!”
