River Roast Wedding

River Roast, situated in the heart of the city, is one of my favorite wedding venues in downtown Chicago. Along the Chicago River, this venue has stunning views of the Chicago skyline, La Salle St Bridge, and is just walking distance to the iconic Wrigley Building location for photos.

Erin and Jimmy tied the knot on September 16, 2022, and the day was just perfect. The couple began the day at The Westin River North Hotel, where the team from Tamara Makeup made the hair and makeup look flawless on all the girls. The couple exchanged sweet letters to one another before heading to the venue for their first look.

The first look was right along the Chicago River; Erin walked down the stairs of River Roast to meet her groom who was anxiously awaiting to see his bride. After taking some portraits with their immediate families by the river, the bridal party jumped on a trolley to head to various locations for more photos. The couple first saw sparks with each other on a trolley, so it was fun to have this incorporated into the big day. The first stop was at the iconic Wrigley Building location, followed by some of the best views of the skyline at Olive Park.

The couple incorporated so many special touches that were significant to them into the wedding, such as Erin walking down the aisle to a Queen song (their first date was to the movie Bohemian Rhapsody). With both Erin and Jimmy’s fun-loving, outgoing personalities, it was no doubt that their guests would fill the dance floor to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Konrath into the night! It was truly an honor to capture this lovely day for such a lovely couple. Cheers to the newlyweds!
