Romantic Spring Fishermen’s Inn Wedding

Fishermen’s Inn is one of those wedding venues that never disappoints! With its beautiful grounds, lush greenery, and picturesque pond, there are so many opportunities for gorgeous wedding portraits without ever having to leave the property. Dayna and Brian’s spring wedding was beautiful, with a timeless color palette of sage green, soft shades of green, and gold woven throughout the day.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! We had one of those overcast spring days that photographers dream about — soft, even light that made everything feel romantic and timeless. And since this was my first time photographing an outdoor ceremony at Fishermen’s Inn, I was excited to see the day unfold.

First Looks & All the In-Between Moments

I’m a big fan of first looks, and this wedding had several sweet moments that made the day feel even more personal.

Dayna and Brian shared their first look before spending time exploring the beautiful grounds for portraits. Having everything at the same venue made the day feel relaxed and seamless, giving us plenty of time to capture the two of them together as well as their family and bridal party.

One of the things I loved most about this day was how naturally everything unfolded. There was time to slow down, enjoy each moment, and really take in the day without feeling rushed.

And this wedding was extra special for me because Dayna is a BFF and was also part of one of my previous weddings! She was in Amanda and Anthony’s beautiful wedding at Monte Bello Estate, so getting to photograph her own wedding day felt like another sweet connection coming full circle.

A Spring Outdoor Ceremony at Fishermen’s Inn

The outdoor ceremony space at Fishermen’s Inn was absolutely beautiful! Dayna and Brian exchanged vows beneath the trees while their closest family and friends gathered to celebrate with them.

The overcast weather made the setting even more beautiful. The soft light filtered through the trees, and all of the greenery surrounding the ceremony created a naturally romantic backdrop. Their sage green and gold color palette complemented the grounds perfectly. The overall look was timeless and elegant – just what you dream about for a spring wedding day.

Timeless Reception Details

I’ve photographed several weddings at Fishermen’s Inn, and while the venue is always beautiful, I think Dayna and Brian’s reception details may have been some of my favorites yet!

The soft greens and gold accents came together beautifully throughout the reception space, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail felt thoughtfully chosen and cohesive with the rest of the day.

A Day Full of Beautiful Moments

One of my favorite things about this wedding was the number of genuine, meaningful moments woven throughout the day. From the first looks and quiet moments between Dayna and Brian to the celebration with their family and friends, there was so much love surrounding these two.

And I have to mention the drone footage! I was really excited about how much drone content we were able to capture throughout the day. Fishermen’s Inn has such stunning grounds, and seeing the property from above adds an entirely different perspective to the story of the wedding day.

There is something so special about being able to photograph a wedding from both the intimate, in-between moments and the larger picture – the people, the celebration, and the beautiful place where it all happened.
