The Royal Sonesta Chicago River North is an iconic venue for a wedding among Chicago’s stunning architecture. Once you step outside the doors, you are filled with scenic views of the Chicago River and breathtaking architectural icons. This was the picture perfect city location for Maria and Connor to say their “I Dos” on September 4, 2021. The one thing even more breathtaking is Maria and Connor’s love story. They’ve been together for over 10 years, and to this day their vibrant love for each other, as well as their sentimental vows made every guest tear up.
After getting ready in the bridal suites, Maria and Connor, along with their bridal party, cruised throughout the city to take portraits in front of the Wrigley Building and the Chicago Board of Trade building. Both of these are iconic locations to capture wedding party photos.
The gorgeous weather allowed for their ceremony to be held outdoors on the Penthouse floor overlooking the skyline. The officiant was Connor’s step father, who shared heartfelt stories of the couple’s love prosper throughout the years. This made the ceremony very personal to their journey as a couple.
Followed by the reception in the Grand Ballroom, their modern elegant theme came to life. With hints of blush, navy and silver decor this simply emphasized the beauty of Maria and Connor’s special day. They started the party off with their first dance to Perfect Symphony by Ed Sheerean and Andrea Bocelli. It was a night filled with endless laughter and dancing.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Skoczynski!! May your beautiful love for each other continue to grow.
