April brings a special kind of magic to the world. The air is warm, and everything is coming to life. This is the perfect time for engagement photos. The sun shines brighter, and the colors pop. One of the most beautiful sights in Spring is the blooming trees throughout Wilder Park. Located in Elmhurst, IL, the park’s Formal Wedding Gardens boast exquisite herb gardens, seasonal floral displays, and perennial beds. My favorite of all though, is the pink and white flowering magnolia trees. The grandiose mansion serves as an elegant backdrop for any season, and is also located alongside the Wilder Park Conservatory.

Dorothy and Pawel were such a joy to have in front of the camera. Their warmth and happiness translates in every single image we captured. This engagement session at Wilder Park will always be one of my all-time favorites. The season of being engaged is a beautiful moment in time: a season of love, excitement, and new beginnings. The soft, golden hour light was just perfect. Congratulations to this sweet couple, and cheers to counting down to the big day!
