When your marriage is almost 20 years in the making, there is not a dry eye at the ceremony! After photographing Dinorah and Ryan’s glamorous engagement session several months back, I could not wait to see these two again for their wedding day. Everything came together even more beautifully than I could have imagined!
The couple shared their first look at the luxury Waldorf Astoria Hotel, where Dinorah and her bridesmaids prepped for the day in the bridal suite. Dinorah has an eye for details and loves all things glamorous. For her big day, she wore a Julia Needleman gown complemented with her grandmothers jewelry and a custom necklace, which was a wedding day gift from Ryan.
The ceremony took place at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, featuring the “Summer of Love” flower show. Dinorah and Ryan incorporated two special wedding traditions into the ceremony: The coin exchange and the putting on of the lasso. Being in such close walking distance from the Lincoln Park Boardwalk, we were able to take advantage of some of Chicago’s most iconic locations for bride and groom portraits.
Dinorah describes her wedding vision as a luxe, stylish affair. What better venue to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter than BLVD, which juxtaposes the glamour and luxury of 1950s Hollywood with contemporary cocktails, cuisine, and music. Congratulations to the newlyweds!!
