Bird Haven Greenhouse proved an ideal location for Renee and David’s maternity photos. Bird Haven Greenhouse, located within Pilcher Park and Higginbotham Woods in Joliet, IL, allows me to capture a wide variety for your photo gallery. Because Renee was going to be due in March, we scheduled her maternity photos in the coldest month of winter – January. In the midwest, January can be brutal. The Bird Haven Greenhouse, however, allowed Renee to stay warm as well as have a place to change her outfit.

Renee looked beautiful in both outfits. Her white dress popped against all of the greenery inside of the greenhouse. And I was so excited when she told me she was brave enough to take a few shots outside. We had a fresh dust of snow that sprinkled the evergreens as well as the outdoor gazebo area.
