Geneva, IL Engagement Session | Casey and Brian

Casey and Brian chose Peck Farm Park for their end of summer engagement session in September! This is one of my favorite locations because it offers so much variety! It’s always fun to do engagement photos in the same month as your wedding to get a preview of what the weather might feel like!

THEIR STORY

Casey and Brian first met back in March 2012 during their senior year of high school. Casey told her friends the moment she saw Brian, that he was “the hottest guy I have ever seen in my entire life.” Brian knew Casey was the one the that night and wanted to be with her forever. Although the timing wasn’t quite right, they remained friends for the first year and a half after meeting. Finally in 2013 on the last night of Country Thunder, their relationship blossomed and they never looked back! They are best friends, which showed through their engagement session!

THE PROPOSAL

For their six year dating anniversary, Casey and Brian had spent a July weekend in Wisconsin at Brian’s family’s camper. When Casey got home and opened the door, there were roses scattered everywhere, a huge bouquet of flowers, and a letter board that said, “Casey, will you marry me?” She was so surprised and excited, Brian couldn’t get a single word out!

THE RING

Casey’s ring is from Jared. It’s her dream ring! She says she sent him pictures of that specific ring about 600 times! It’s a halo cushion cut with diamonds on the underneath prongs. It’s been her dream ring since she was like 16 years old!

These two are both big fans of country music and truly best friends. Casey says Brian makes her laugh every single day and truly knows her better than anyone. She falls more in love with him every day. Brian said he knew Casey was the one the night that they met. In the almost year and half that he was pursuing Casey, told all of his friends and family about how she was “the one that got away.”

I had the best time with Casey and Brian and I cannot wait until Sept 2021 for their big day!!
