City Hall Events Chicago Wedding

City Hall Events, nestled in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, was the perfect venue for Molly and Rory’s beautiful wedding. The industrial character of the space reflects its pre-1920 roots, with the original brick exposed and skylights allowing for natural light in its large open space. Furthermore, the event space complemented with the natural florals, pampas grasses, and color palette created Molly’s vision of Classic Chicago meets California Coastal.

The day began with the couple getting ready at the Trump Tower in the heart of River North. The bridal suites here are both spacious and have great views. The couple also chose to do their first look on the rooftop, Terrace 16. The location worked perfectly as the couple along with their families were just a couple of minutes walking distance from the Chicago Riverwalk, where the group took family portraits.

Later, the bridal party decided to also head over to Bartelme (Mary) Park for their portraits. Not only was this nice and close to the venue, but it allowed us to create some unique bridal party portraits. This was just SUCH a fun group that really was able to go with the flow and allow their vendors to adjust the original plans throughout the day!
