Grace and David attended the same high school, but it wasn’t until many years later that their love story began. They had completely different friend groups in high school. Then one night at a local bar in their hometown, the two ran into each other and started talking. After four years of dating, David popped the question while the two were on a trip to Cabo San Lucas!
David knew he was going to propose on this trip; he just wasn’t sure how. In fact, he bought the ring the day before the two left for Mexico. He walked into Persin & Robbin in Downtown Arlington Heights and told them he needed the ring the same day because they had a flight out the following morning.
About halfway into the trip, Grace was getting all dressed up for drinks before dinner, and that’s when David knew the time was right. During sunset, David asked a hotel employee to take pictures of the two of them, but before Grace knew it, David was down on one knee. Grace loves looking back at the spontaneity of the moment and realizing how nervous he was at the time. Of course she was going to say yes!
Now the couple is planning their Chicago wedding for Sept 2022! We are so excited to capture your most important day along side you both. Congratulations Grace and David!
