It was love at first swipe! Rachel & Chris met on a dating app and officially tied the knot on August 31, 2019. The Grand Geneva Resort and Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is one of the most stunning wedding venues, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available. It is conveniently located driving distance from major metropolitan areas, Chicago, Milwaulkee and Madison. One of the first things I said to Rachel is that I’m going to hire her to plan my wedding one day. From her gorgeous bridal gown, to the color palette and florals, every detail came together beautifully.

Rachel and Chris held their ceremony outside on a perfect overcast day (a photographer’s dream wedding weather). The couple said their vows alongside their closest family and friends in front of a beautiful floral hoop to symbolize the eternal ring of love.

The couple also shared in a tradition at the ceremony that I had never seen before – And one that I think is amazing! Similar to lighting a unity candle or mixing sand, Rachel and Chris blended two wines together to symbolize the blending of their new lives together. It was a meaningful way to expression their relationship and their personalities. Congratulations Rachel and Chris! Wishing you newlyweds all of the best!
